I get an error when my computer starts up. I have found info regarding this and a fix supposedly but it still occurs. None of the info actually tells me what program has caused this. Does anyone know?

Hey Scott, The OCX file is

Hey Scott,

The OCX file is linked to your Windows OS. More recently referred to as ActiveX control files. These work with the DLL files file your Win OS.

Not sure which tx4ole is associated with, however they are rather important to the Windows OS, and as such will need repair.(My guess is it may be a font file like, or alike.)

Do a google search and you should be able to find a free repair for this to download.

If you have recently installed new software, try to uninstall it, reboot, then reinstall again.

Might also be worth running a virus scan like avast boot time scan... (www.avast.com) - its also free however you will need to remember to update to latest virus list before running the scan...

(no affiliation with avast, just a recommendation, and not liable for any data loss, if unsure recommend you take the PC to a IT repairer).

Hope this helps,

This may be related to a scanning program, OCR or image aqcuisition. Do you have a scanner installed? If so uninstall and reinstall it's programs. Beware Regcure, it has destroyed many working systems. Registry cleaners should only be used as a last resort and then only if you know what it is you are "fixing". Only use one which provides a means to undo what it has done.
