Hi All

I give ftp://ip address but the connection is not establishing and this message comes up;

The operation is timed out.

The other PC is in different subnet and the folder is shared.

Also, when I give FTP to another PC which is connected to my Router (and has different subnet mask)an error message appears that read's ;

The connection with the server could not be established.

Plz help me

Hi, maybe your firewall is getting in the way.

Also check your router manual/forums. There could be a setting you need to change for FTP.

When I use FTP I have to reduce the strength of the firewall setting in my router so that it can happen. You may have a similar problem.
