I am curently running 5 Seagate Cheetah ST318406LC Ultra 160 drives in an Intel Raid System using Controller SRCU31. I need to upgrade to increase space. Can I replace the above drives with the new Cheetah 15K.4 listed below?
Cheetah 15,000 RPM 80-pin SCA-2 single connector hot-pluggable version. Ultra320 LVD SCSI ST373454LC - 73.4 GB
If no, what is the highest performing drive I can use with that controller?
Intel is no help, Seagate "thinks" it will work.
