I have two networks (10.x.x.x & 192.x.x.x) using the one switch. No device on either network has an address in both subnets. Is it possible for IP borne viruses/worms to cross over from one network to the other?

I would say that it depends on the Virus/Worms that you fear could be lurking on your systems AND how intelligent and innovative their writers were.
First you need some exposure to the outside world, internet, eMail, infected free games CD. Then the worm would need to scan for connected machines.
I would say that it is possible. How probable? Only you can make that judgement.
