I have XP Pro installed and my friend has ME installed. Is there any way we can arrange Remote Control between the two computers?

pcAnywhere is good. There are others, do a Google.

You should be able to access the XP Pro machine from the ME machine using Microsoft's Remote Desktop Client, but it won't work vice-versa... http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/tools/rdclientdl.mspx
Try pcAnywhere as Chris suggested.
Personally, I use Real VNC for this kind of stuff (it's free) : http://www.realvnc.com/
