How many televisions in your house? (7 posts)

Hey guys,

How many televisions are there in your house, and how large/old are they? I'm noticing a trend in my friends and family, where the numerous smaller CRT television screens around the house are being replaced with a single huge LCD or plasma television.

Is the same happening with people you know?

Perhaps a better question for those of us in here is 'how many monitors do you have lying around your home?' :P

Generally, i'd say that there is one TV per room, which is generally the old CRT, and one in the living area, which is the big-screen LCD/plasma.

one old one, one 32" LCD

Probably depends how big your house is!

1 x 42" plasma SD 1 x 32" LCD

1 x 42" plasma SD 1 x 32" LCD HD 1 x 22 LCD HD 2 x LCD desktops 24" screens

1 x projector with 120" screen (cinema room)

haven't got one in the bathroom yet.

One box

One old 70cm CRT. I think we may be the only 2 children family with only one!!!???

new data, cool photos, and cool discussion on number of televisions owned by american families coming out in a book titled Life at Home in the Twenty First Century.

i think this is being published the cotsen institute of archaeology press at ucla.
