We have 2 XPs, 1 Win 98 2nd and we are all connected to a ADSL modem. We would like to creat a LAN among ourself so we can share stuffs. Thanks to previous helps by Gus Beard and Stu.
The 2 XPs work fine but the Win 98 2nd somehow can not find the other two. The 2 XPs can see the shared folder from the 98 but 98 can't. I have run a search for other computers and 98 can find the other two but can't access them cause it says they are not logged on when they in fact are.
The impression I got is the networking is fine but the 98 one seems to be blocked from network or does not have a compatible software to detect network from other 2.
