I would like to connect 2 computers together by using 2 network cards without using hub in Win ME.
I tried to use Home Network Wizard in Win ME but after I created the network connection disk a pop up came up and asked to restart. I clicked ok and the Windows then rebooted but I could never go back to Windows unless I was running in Safe Mode. I couldn't do anything at all and I had to restore my computer from the ghost image. I would like to connect 2 computers together so that I can share my high speed internet. Please feel free to show me if you know how I can connect my computers together.

You need a special crossover cable to connect the two computers without a hub.

You can connect two PC's together by using a cross over cable. This is similar to a normal network cable except a couple of pairs have been crossed over hence the name.
You can usually purchase this type of cable from your local electronics store.
