XPSP2 + WMP11 + Bluetooth headphones = no music (1 post)

I got a set of Nokia BH-500 Bluetooth stereo headphones. They pair with my Samsung mobile phone beautifully. They also pair with my HP Pavilion laptop with XPSP2 which has a built in Bluetooth module. However, when I play a track from my WMP library, I hear only the first fraction of a second of the music through the headset and then nothing, even though there is still a connection. The music continues to play through the laptop speakers, though sometimes there is no sound at all. I hear Windows sounds through the headphones ok. I have tried changing WMP audio and sound settings to use the Bluetooth device. A disk with drivers I presume came with the Nokia headset. Should I trying running this disk? Or what? Thanks for any help.
