Remove Old Presentations from foot of File list (4 posts)

I have got MS Office 2000 installed on Windows XP and it works fine. Every so often I am sent a Power point presentation in an Email. Somehow I have a list of titles in the File dropdown menu that I have deleted from my system. How can I remove these unwanted titles please.......Dave

In PowerPoint go to 'Tools' then 'Options' then under the General tab take the tick out of the 'Recently used file list'.

Select Ok and then close PowerPoint and reopen - file list shou;ld be gone and then you can reset the number of files to keep in the file list. (At least this is how it works in Office 2003)

In Powerpoint: Tools>Options>General - untick or change to 0, the "Recently used file list" entries.(This is PPT 2003 but I imagine it's the same for PPT 2000. Remember to re-tick or change back to a desired number of files when done.
