Blackberry Pearl 8100 Error 507 (2 posts)

after copying some application and stuff on my blackberry pearl it is now saying error 507 when connecting to the desktop manager. how can this be fixed?

Hey Jane,

Blackberry errors 505 and 507 happen sometimes when loading applications, and for whatever reason the process gets interrupted, leaving no applications loaded on your Blackberry.

To resolve this, you can try the following

-don't use a docking station for your phone, instead, connect it directly to your computer -make sure you have the most up to date desktop manager software installed -try disabling your virus scanner to see if it is blocking the phone's COM port

After trying these steps, reload desktop manager and try loading your applications again.
