Adding new protocols under WinXP (3 posts)

I asked a question here before about networking, and then realised that the problem may be not using the right protocols. I tried to add a new protocol under Windows XP, but when I clicked Add, it then said "Windows unable to find any information or drivers for this device". I downloaded the latest drivers and installed them, what else could be wrong with this?

Re: Adding new protocols under WinXP

Hi Dale

Go to network places, open view network connections. Right click on your NC and install the protocol you require. If this doen't work you need to tell us what NC you have etc. Cheers

Ok, it would only let me add one new protocol and it was some weird one...

I have a SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter. I've tried contacting the card manufacturer but they did not reply.
