Convert and copy MP3 CD to Audio CD (12 posts)

I have Nero 7. How do I convert and copy an MP3 CD to an audio CD? I need an answer with no techno talk, I'm not computer savvy.

Don`t know about using Nero 7 but I have used MP3 CD Converter from the site listed below with very good results. It is also very straight forward and easy to use.

Hi Jennifer,

There is a facility in Nero to do this I think, though I have not used it. However, I think it would be best to copy the files you want to a folder on your Hard Disk Drive, then use Nero Smartstart to choose to build an Audio CD, adding the tracks you want by following the wizard. Play around to find out the method, you can't do much wrong other than waste the odd 10 cent CD.

Be aware, that if you have an mp3 cd with lots of songs e.g. 160 , only roughly 16 or so of these will fit onto an audio cd, since the songs are converted to a format taking up lots moe space than an mp3 track.

Hi Jennifer,

Nero will convert your mp3's back to cd audio automatically for you as part of the burning process. Put your mp3 cd in the drive and using windows explorer, copy the songs you want off the mp3 cd to a folder on your hard drive (eg. c:mp3s). Close explorer and start up Nero Express. Select cd cdrw, then select Music, then Audio cd.

Click the Add button and browse to the folder you created (c:mp3s) and select the songs you want to burn untill your cd is full (usually 18 to 22 songs). If the songs have been ripped from different albums it is a good idea to click the check box "Normalise all audio files". Otherwise some songs will be too quiet and others too loud.

Click "Next". Add a description for your cd( if you want) in the "CD Text" boxes. I have had better results with audio cds by slowing down the "Writing Speed" to 8x.

Click "Burn".When prompted by Nero, Inset an empty cdr disk and let Nero do it for you.

Hi ive been using Winavi for a number of years, since the release of v10. the output quality has changed, its not as good anymore can anyone tell me of another good product, thanx.
