Video on netmeeting (2 posts)

We have three PCs networked at home. Each has a video camera and we can connect with each other using netmeeting. Problem is if I use dial up to connect to home I cannot use video. I can access the network and see files that are available. Basically I would like to be able to connect to the home network and check that all is okay. Any clues?

Re: Video on netmeeting

Rob,

I know the perfect solution to connect to your home PC. There is a program called Remote Administrator that gives you full remote control of a computer with client software installed. Visit their website at http://www.radmin.com, or search for it.

Install the Server Application on the computer you are going to control, and the client on the computer you are using to control the Server. Once you have the Servers IP address (you can get this by running C:WINDOWSIPCONFIG.EXE)you have full access through a GUI (yes, you see what is on at the other end!)or you can just browse through files like on an explorer window. Another alternative I can think of to this program would be Cult dead Cow's Back Orifice - but this is much less user friendly and mainly hacker orientated (server app is actually a hidden trojan)

I hope Iv'e helped.
