My system: Intel (R) Core(TM) 2 CPU; 6400 @2.13ghz; 32 bit; 2gb RAM. Running Vista Home Premium.

I have installed Pinnacle Studio V11 on this new computer; which is stated as being Vista compatible.

The program works with capturing video, but does not 'capture' audio from camcorder. The audio track only shows a straight white line - no audio waves.

With "voiceover" - same problem - white line, no audio waves.

If I use the program "Windows Move Maker" there is NO problem - video, audio, and voiceover all work fine.

A 'Google' only seems to respond with release notes and sales.

A request for 'tech support' has not resulted in any response (as yet). Can you help, please?

Without being able to refer to your user manual, I suggest that you check your audio capture settings to see that the correct device has been selected. It may be set to your sound card or not at all.

Thanks for response Stephen. Yes, have checked those audio settings. Have had a response from Pinnacle, and they asked the same question. Waiting for further response from them. Ta
