I have a Dell Dimension desktop, with Win98 and a PII processor.
The Dragon's Lair game was issued in 1995, and the manufacturer (Readysoft) is now obsolete, so I have no way of getting hold of their tech support.
The instructions for Win95 (which I assume would also apply to my Win98) say that I:
"must be set up for Expanded Memory. If you receive an error message indicating there is no EMS present you need to edit the CONFIG.SYS file. Go to the DOS prompt and type 'edit c :config.sys'- make sure the line that loads in EMM 386.EXE has RAM after it and not NOEMS- if NOEMS is present, then just replace it with RAM- save any changes made and exit ti WIN '95:Dragon's Lair- Click Start - Choose Shutdown- Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode- From the CD-ROM prompt type 'dragon' then hit enter."
I have tried (to the best of my abilities) to perform these procedures, but they just don't seem to be working. Does anybody understand these instructions that might be able to explain them a little bit clearer?

I will try to start making posts often now that I've registered and maybe try and help out as much as time permits Work on newest bots for rs. I work many hours a day so making time is interesting but I really believe I am capable of absolutely giving assistance all the people on the forum. Really, this message was a long method of introducing myself.
