Is there a crop I should be choosing to get more XP in Farmville? How do I level up quickly?

farmville crop depends on you level

basically the higher you are the more better plants you can grow. You look at the gap between the cost of the plant and the harvest price plus it has to fit in with your timings. There's no point sowing carrots for 12 hours and then you don't come back for a day and they are withered and dead.

Its' good to specialise in a crop in farvmville

you get more XP once you get to 1st and 2nd level mastery plus you get bonus XP when you get to full mastery although that can take a while. I reckon the best place you can spend your hard earned FV cash is by upgrading your farm as fast as you can. but make sure you leave enough cash so yuo can plant your crops still. Nothing sadder than a big empty farm

If you have plenty of time grow the berries

Berries ripen fast - like strawberries are every 4 hours so if you can keep FV open at work and just harvest and re-plant you get a good rotation going. Plus I definitely agree that yuo should go for mastery. I mastered Watermelons (they take forever to grow but I was on holidays so I just planted em and harvested when I got home) and now some of them give me 8XP when I harvest em - that means that when you include the 2XP for planting it's up to 10XP per patch - that's pretty amazing

How to level up quick in Farmville? Forget the crops!

Go with haybales - you buy the plain haybale for 100 and it gives you 5XP straight away. That's way quicker than planting soybeans for 2XP plus 1XP for plowing. And the price is about the same too. Deleting can be a pain in the proverbial afterwards but you can never have too much hay..

Farmville - best crop to grow in FV is peas

You Get 3XP per sowing plus the 1Xp for the plowing. But you need it because it's so hard to level up from there in Famrville with about 8000 points between each level it gets ridiculous. Otehr than that I would grow strawberries if yuor still on a low level because you can harvest 6 times in a 24 hour period. If you don't sleep that is hahah!

Best FarmVille crop for XP

Hi, I just found your question when I was googling for something totally different and thought well... let's answer it.

You ask 2 different things.

One thing you should note is that crops always have to be plowed first and that always delivers 1 XP extra. So you have to add 1 XP to the Crop XP.

Your first question is which crop you should choose to get the best XP. The simplest is just a list with all crops and XP: http://farmville.aweblog.net/almanac/seeds/seeds-xp/farmville-seeds-by-xp in which you see that peas deliver you the highest XP. HOWEVER is that interesting? Yes it could be but ofcourse you want also the best XP / time given. Because you are not only interested in raw XP but also in the amount of XP per Time Unit. And that number is much more interesting (just think about it: a crop can give you 5 XP but if you have to wait for 5 days for it while another crop gives you 4 XP in 1 hour then you will gain much more). So what you need to think about is the best XP/Hour , that is the real useful table: http://farmville.aweblog.net/almanac/seeds/seeds-xp/all-seeds-by-hours-and-xp and THERE you see that the special crops mostly are the best however of the always available crops the berries give the best XP/Hour: strawberries deliver 0.5 XP / hour. (and take 4 hours).

Now to your second question: how do I level up quickly.

Probably you are thinking : hey 0.5 XP/ hours for strawberries then it is simple, then I will just only do strawberries and I will level up the most quickly.

However. There is even a better way of gaining XP and that is by coins to XP conversion. Meaning: you should look for the "thing" that you can buy for XP and which costs the less. For that look in the table of coin to XP conversion: http://farmville.aweblog.net/almanac/overall-best-farm-coins-to-xp-convertion and you will see that soybeans deliver the best coins to XP conversion. You get 0.1 XP per Farm Coin for simply plowing, seeding soybeans and then immediately deleting the soybeans and repeating that dozens of times.

So now to the last part: if you want to reach that ratio of 0.1 XP / coins you will need coins. So ... basically what you need for leveling is NOT XP (although that might sound the most logically) but Coins. So you need to concentrate on getting the most coins per hour and then do a constant coins to XP conversion. So how do you get the most coins per hour? Look in this table: http://farmville.aweblog.net/almanac/overall-best-revenue-per-hour and you will see that currently (could change any day) Calfs deliver the highest profit per hour (and because it are animals profit and revenue are the same).

So to summarize: if you really want to level the most quickly: put your complete field full of calfs. and then, on a little spot constantly convert the coins to XP by seeding soybeans and deleting soybeans in that way you will level up the most quickly.
