I have successfully downloaded a video from YouTube to the harddrive and used a free download (Any Video converter) to make the video playable on WMP.
I have discovered that the video, although it has the .AVI extension, will play as normal on my XP (SP3) system (video & audio), but when attempting to play the same download on any other XP computers’ WMP only the audio component gets played.
Would anyone have any ideas on why the video is restricted to my home computer only?

Re: YouTube
Howdy, I reckon you may need Audio video Codecs. Try klite video mega package. It is a video audio package which will play all media on this earth. Go to Majorgeeks.com, when there look in left column in 'multmedia', click then scroll down till you see 'K Lite mega package'. Download and install. It is a big file download as it has lots of others feathers. Hope that helps!

Re: YouTube
Does the other pc have the same installed codecs as you. If not, then it will not work.
Hope this helps you out.
