While restoring my ipod it said the message "unknown error has occurred 1428". Anyone know what to do?

a few things to try

Hey Marcus,

This is a common error code that can happen when updating or restoring your iPod. A few things you can try to fix this:

-try unplugging your Ipod and plug it back in -reboot your computer -try unplugging any other USB device that you aren't using -try a different USB port

If none of these solutions work, you can visit the apple support site at http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1372 for more info.
