I have 2 computers and only 1 internet connection so I decided to network the 2 computers to a hub that would connect to the internet I've brought straight thru cables and have installed them and don't know what to do next but I want to be able to send files from computer to computer. Can some one help?

Re: simple network
There are several ways to accomplish what you are trying to do. One simple method would be to connect the two computers with a cross cable (which does not even require a hub), establish local link between them via Microsoft OS Networking wizard and enable Sharing for folders that are to be accessed. You can then drag and drop files from one computer to the other. You can also enable Internet Sharing for one of the computers so that while one computer goes online, the other computer can also access the Internet via first computer's Internet connection.
Hope you find this helpful.
