I've been searching but still can't find a bluetooth ear piece that has all the functions of the wired stereo earpiece that came with my mobile phone - ie make and receive phone calls, play pause and restart the media player, pause the media player when the phone rings and restart the media player when the call ends.
Can someone please explain why? Is it that the capacity of bluetooth at 1Mbs is too low to stream the media player? Can't really see why as it streams voice ok, and when I had a dial-up connection, my PC would stream Internet radio ok at 56kbs!

Re: Bluetooth music
Hi Philip, I have a Motorolla V3 Mobile and I use an "Elcheapo" (cheapest I could buy) blue tooth ear thing made by JABRA. It plays my media audio (audio from movies and mp3) pretty good in mono as there is only 1 ear peice.
When you get a call it stops playing and allows you to answer by pressing the button on the ear peice. The inbuilt battery lasts about a week between recharges depending on how much you use it. I got it from Dick Smiths for about $40 and I love it. Pitty it makes you look a bit like a cyborg though.
