Last week I posted two questions but only one of the questions was answered (many thanks for the answer Chris B.) The 2nd query still remains a mystery, which is:
How does one enable the auto-response e-mail notifications? once someone posts a reply or solution to my question, is it possible to have the notification sent to my inbox?

Setting up auto responses to email will vary depending upon which program you are using to read your email.
Most web based email clients will have an check-box option in their settings to use an "Out of Office" auto reply feature
The most general advice that can be given for other email programs is to look in the rules section. Most email programs will allow you to create a rule that can automatically reply to all incoming emails. Remember that for email programs that are not web-based the rules and the autoresponder will only work while the computer is turned on and the email program is running.
