are these things worth the money? does anyone have one or know someone who has one?

Like most Apple products

From what I've seen they are superb. They look fantastic both in design and in image quality. However like most Apple products, they are overpriced.

If you are willing to pay a fair bit extra for the style and the look, then you should certainly get plenty of value out of them.

Apple screens are horrible, they have a bad contrast ratio and a VERY reflective screen. All in all, its a bad product thats completely overpriced.

I'd recommend Dell screens (the only dell product thats actually good) or Samsung.

I have two 24" screens from dell, great performance and quality. I use it for graphic design.

Reflective? Apples 20",23"(now discontinued) and 30" are matt displays. Only the new(er) 24" is reflective.
