G'day,
When attempting to play multiplayer game of Age of Empires 2 via 2 Networked PC's, the 2nd PC locks up when I am about to click the "I'M READY" button. I don't have to actually press it, just hover over it. I'm using TCP/IP multiplayer mode over a LAN.
Any ideas?

Re: Age of Empires 2 - multiplayer
Hi Ian
Try creating a game on the machine that locks up (make it the host) and see if the good working PC can connect to it.
I guess you have uninstalled AOE on both and reloaded them to make sure you are running the same versions.
If you are on a local network and they are both accessing a different CD-Rom?
Last place to look is on the Microsoft Support page they have a patch ( free download) that might help you out.
