I just purchased this router not too long ago to replace the DI-604, it has the latest v1.5 firmware. I have Veriozen DSL with Dynamic IP. This router is blocking DNS queries & dropping MAC packets on all four systems right out of the box with factory settings! I unchecked DNS Relay, PPTP because these were showing up in the firewall log entries, but the problem continues. Instead of showing DNS Relay or PPTP blocking DNS query, it now shows this:
[INFO] Tue Dec 13 21:41:45 2005 Blocked incoming ICMP packet from 192.168.0.180 to 192.168.1.1 (ICMP type 3)
The same entry often repeats 3~20 times per minute and occurs every 10~15 minutes or so. I have tried opening port53, tried port forwarding, tried setting the DNS server IP's to "Allow" under Inbound Filter, nothing works. I already ran out of ideas, please help! Thanks in advance.
