Boot linux from USB (2 posts)

My computer's BIOS has options to boot from HD, Floppy, CD drive. It does not have an option to boot from USB. Will it be impossible to boot from USB?

How to boot linux from USB

Check out "Plop" Boot CD. You boot to the CD and from there it has options where to boot. As long as your USB is in, it should boot to that when you command it.
