Hi

I am having problems loading couple of games, ie. Age of Empires 2 and The Sims. They both install without hassles, but when I go to run them I get (example Age of Empires 2) the following error message: AGE2.X1 caused an invalid page fault in module AGE2.X1.EXE at 0167:00426804. I have the demo of Age of Empires 2 and it works fine, which is weird, but I'm definately no expert :)

My system is an 800 AMD, 64 meg of ram, Voodoo 3 2000, DirectX 8, Creative Vibra128 Sound Card, running with Windows 98.

Is there A fix for this or anyway around it? Any help muchly appreciated.

Suggest:

1. The offending program is AOEII-Expansion (The Conquerors). I assume you have the original (not the demo) AOEII-Age of Kings installed in the same directory? 2. You should patch to version 2a if you have not already done so.

3. Make sure to update to the latest DirectX drivers. www.microsoft.com/directx
