My V9.2 settings are correct but my modem doesn't disconnect. Is there any third-party s/w that would help me? I use a smartlink modem.

Don't understand the question. If you are wanting the modem to disconnect and the phone to ring when someone tries to call you, it can't be done. Get broadband. Then you can use the phone at the same time as the internet.
