I've got a few games that start installing and then stop part or full way through the install. All my specs are ok for these games. What is crashing these installs?

Nothing else is running (ie antivirus etc) but they still fail to complete installs!

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Check the spec's on the box then check you have the correct hardwarwe.

Also check Disk Space to make sure you have enough free.

Also I gues this in important what game is it?

If it uses direct X or something like this?

What part of thie instalation does it fail? and does it fail at the same place each time?

It might be a dud disk/CD rom

Could you give us more info? What games in particular are having these installation problems?

Does it come up with any error messages after failing to install?

What Operating System are you running?

What Direct X do you have installed?

What is your system specifications?

You could check out the official game web sites and see if they might have the answers there. But until we get more specific, we can only have a stab in the dark rather than an educated guess.

The problem is that you DirectX files are not up to date. DirectX is a program that gives the computer the power to open the file(s). You sould be able to download DirectX of the Microsoft Download website.
