! Hi I have a usb memory stick that had a virus. I formated it and still shows 4kb used space. It is a 2gb capacity device. Sould it be any used space after formating? Anyone has any ideas? Thanks Robert

I have a 4Gb mem stick & when I go to properties it says; free space;3,68Gb used space; 46.7Mb.Capacity;4.009 or 3.73 (don't ask) so I am assuming this is a boot partition or hidden sector required for the use of the device I believe you have the same on your hard drive. hope this helps.
