Re: Add extra comtuter to network
No problems. There is a limit to how many PCs you can connect through modem/router to the internet, but you are far from reaching it.
Your Netcomm modem/router has 4 ports for connecting wired Ethernet devices. All you have to do is buy another switch and plug it into one of the ethernet ports on the Netcom modem/router. That uses up one of those 4 ethernet ports, but gives you another four or more more.
Just make sure when you buy the switch you buy a cable for connecting the switch to the modem/router. In some cases you may need a "crossover" cable to do that, but in most cases switches provide an automatic or switchable "uplink" port for connecting to another switch. The salesperson at the computer store will tell you which you need for the switch you buy.
Re: Add extra comtuter to network
Buy a $15-20 switch or hub on Ebay, plug it into one of the router ports, and plug the other two pc's into the hub. A bit slower under full load, but likely you will never notice.
