civ 3 out of frequency (3 posts)

I just installed civ 3 and everytime i click to play it tells me that im out of frequency. Then clicks off. Can someone tell me how to fix this ..plz?

Hi Rob,

This problem relates to your monitor driver. Go to http://forums.devhardware.com/archive/t-21267/Frequency-Out-of-Range- and about half way down the page is a thread from somone who had the same problem with civ3 and fixed it via driver update.

I had the same problem.

Patch 1.29f

Go to the official game manufacturer site and find either this patch or a newer one.
