Unable to open Internet Explorer (2 posts)

I have had some trouble accessing the internet. In order to access my incoming email I have had to return to an older Restore Point in Win XP to enable the correct email account detail However now when I attempt to open Internet Explorer 7 it momentarily opens a blank page then closes down. How do I download a fresh copy (or even IE8) without access to web pages to do so?

I am reluctant to re-install Windows XP for fear of losing programs etc

try installing a copy of a different browser (Firefox for example). Because you cant access the net, you will have to get the install file from another computer and transfer it to your own via CD or USB.

You can download it here: www.getfirefox.com
