Hey,

I have just bought the February edition of PC World and it came with some demos. I get to this screen where you have a to click the 'Download' button. I click 'Download' but nothing happens?? I got it once but it took ages but then it said that there was a currupted file on the CD. So if anybody could help me, please reply to this.

Dear Murcucio,

You didn't say which game in particular was causing you problems, the version of Windows you are using or the browser, so it is hard to properly diagnose the problem. However, try this as an alternative. Go the Games section and pick the game you want. Don't click Download. Make a note of the file name (scroll down if you can't see it). Now open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), go to the CD and open the games folder. There are now two options for you to follow. You can either run the setup/zip file from the CD (double-click on it) or copy the file to your hard drive and run it from there.

Hello,

If the game demo you are talking about is something like the Age Of Mythology Demo, then when you hit download, if your installation files need updating, your machine will try to connect to the internet. Just let it do that and accept the downloads that come automatically. You may find this solves the problem. Keith.
