Re: Voice activated software

You can start by looking at the Web sites of these commercial offerings:

IBM ViaVoice

Dragon NaturallySpeaking

Philips FreeSpeech

Can anyone tell me of a good reference source looking at options for voice activated software for use in word processing? In particular reviews of any kind or opinions of current users.

Re: Voice activated software

I have been using Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred (Australian Dictionary)for the past year and I have found it really does perform well. I have no great problems with it. It does require patience and practice to attain acceptable speed and from then on it is good.
