Hello everybody

Is there any way I can configure my window xp (sp2), to ask for a password during bootup? Thanks in advance Lyon

Just add a password to your account in Control Panel - User Accounts.

If your talking about as the PC boots up before Windows XP starts? As the computer boots you should have a few seconds to press the delete key. When you see this prompt on the screen (down the bottom - typically) This takes you into the CMOS screen. Somewhere on the screen - different for different PCs depending on the MB manufacturer. You should see an option that says something like password - go into that section and set your password. Don't forget it as resetting the CMOS password sometimes is not easy! If you google CMOS password you may find more tips.
