Caps Lock Alarm (3 posts)

On my last PC I had it configured to beep if I pressed the caps lock key. I now have a new PC and I have forgotten how to set up the alarm. Can you help

Re: Caps Lock Alarm

Windows XP lets you play a sound when you press Caps Lock, Num Lock, or scroll Lock. You can set this up by Choosing Start > Control Panel > Acessibility Options, and then click the Accessibilty Options icon.

Alternatively you can use the Acessibiltity Wizard by choosing Start > All Programs > Acessories > Acessibilty > Acessibilty Wizard.

To turn on sounds you need to use the ToggleKeys option on the Keyboard tab of the Accessibility Options dialog box. If you want to hear a sound when you press the Shift, Ctrl, Alt or Windows key, choose the Sticky Keys option.

Additional information can be found under Accessibility in Windows Help.

Hope this is useful.
