Access Denied Drive C (3 posts)

Recently when logging the desktop shows a message for Nortons "Access Denied Drive C". I am unable to fix errors on this drive due to this message.

I cannot recall making any changes to settings and have tried the Restore to an earlier date function without success Advice on how to clear this please.

Thanks Bill Holland

Re: Access Denied Drive C

This is a standard Norton crapware issue. Fix it here -

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nsw.nsf/docid/2001122707472207

then do yourself a favour and remove anything Norton completely. Anti virus AVG7, www.free.grisoft.com, antispyware Spybot S&D, www.safer-networking.org/
