Counterstrike lag (2 posts)

Sometimes when I play Counterstrike, my connection suddenly pauses. This happens on every server about every 2 minutes. When the connection resumes, I usually end up seeing everything in fast motion.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you using a dialup connection or broadband??

If you are using dial-up then dont expect high pings when playing CS online. If you are on a broadband connection, then make sure that you don't download anything while you are playing otherwise it will affect gameplay and cause what you have described.
