Hey pplz,
Can anyone answer why my computer goes on standby after about 10 mins of gameplay? It only goes on standby if its in a full screen game like: prince of persia, the sims 2, splinter cell, but strangely, not doom 3.
I've tried the bios, I even got one of those dudes to help, but it's still playing up.

Have you checked the power options, right click on the desktop and click display properties and click the screensaver tab and click the "power" button and you'll be at the Power options window and check around and see if the setting is wrong or something.
