When I try to start a game the message with box titled 16-bit Windows subsystem. In the box it says C:winntsystem32autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close" to terminate the application. If I choose Close or Ignore nothing still happens.

A common problem. You need to extract a new copy of the file from your XP disc, and config.nt also. They live in WindowsSystem32.

What os are you running, is it windows xp, sp1 or sp2?

GO TO C:windowsrepair folder find autoexce.nt file and COPY N Paste it to c:windowssystem32 folder. Works everytime.
