I have been sent some *.nfo text files. What program reads them as I have tried them all (I think)
Many thanks, Bart

Re: Text file reader
Hello David
You can read .nfo files with notepad, write, wordpad, and any other text editor
Just double click the file then the PC asks you what program you would like to use to open it, now arrow down and select notepad then select ok.
Another option would be to open note pad then click file open -> browse to your nfo file and view it that way.

Re: Text file reader
I would suspect a virus as a search of the vet.com.au encyclopedia with .nfo returns two virii, SCA and SCB.If you are sure these are not virii try asking the person that sent them. Always be carefull of attachments. Even text files.

Re: Text file reader
Many Thanks Gus for your response on the *.nfo text file; Yes I had tried most of them but but seems to be possibly written to confuse deliberatlty by originator.
I have not been caught like this before. Thanks Gus
