Why is my computer slow playing Porsche Unleashed Demo 3D ? I have a Pentium 111, CPU 866, Motherboard PC Partner ATX370 with S/C MB, 128MB P133 SDRAM, 20GB Samsung HDD, TNT11 32 MB Daytona.
I have installed the demo from a CD to my computer but the game is slow, the car stays in second gear for a long time, sometimes it changes and sometimes it stays in second gear right through the whole game.
However when I install the same game from the same CD on my friends computer Celeron 466, TNT32MB, 20GB HDD, 128 MB P100 SDRAM it plays excellent.
The CD is not faulty as the game was installed from the same CD and plays OK on my friends computer. I would appreciate your help if you could tell me what's wrong that makes my computer so slow.
