Which O/S best for 3D gaming? (3 posts)

I'm really into heavy computer 3D gaming, could you pleae tell me is Windows XP better than Windows 98 for 3D games?

Someone is going to laugh at me but personally I think Windows ME is better for games, then Windows 2000 for the more quake3/direct X type games. Then Win98 and last last last is Windows XP.

But it all depends on your game and what it has been optimized for. Im sure Microsoft Flight Sim works great on XP but big woop! Gus

I have not used XP yet. But I have used W2K pro (Windows 2000 pro) and is very good at it. I think better than 98.
