I have endlessly asked myself this question which only you can provide the answer to - even though this is a free site to access, why does one need to enter/provide a password when posting a question?

Posting new content in the forum
Hi Robert
We have recently overhauled and updated our Forum section. I hope you like the new look and feel. We have simplified the system, and you can post a reply to a thread without having to log in.
We still ask that PCW members log in to post new content in the forum.
