you make them both part of the same workgroup.

G'day Jon,

Easiest way is to run the 'Network Setup Wizard' on the XP machine which will create a floppy disk for you to run in the 2000 PC. This will set up all the settings you need and it should all work fine. The wizard is a follow-the-bouncing-ball setup.
