Windows Media Centre won't display at 1920x1080 (1 post)

My previous Sony TV (32in) displayed Windows Media Centre maximised at 1920x1080. The new 40in Bravia won't. If I drop the resolution in WMC it works. Why would it make any difference? Same number of pixels; same frequency; same 32-bit depth...
