Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a laptop, and would appreciate some advice from anyone who knows more about buying them than I (in other words, anyone). I'm looking for something that can handle some mild gaming, work, study, and lots of travelling!
I'd prefer something on the lighter side of the scale, but it is more important that it is hardy - I'm in the Navy, so travelling is a constant. I'm looking for something that has at least a terra of memory, has bluetooth and wifi capabilities (surely that's standard now?), and runs Windows (no Macs!)
Size-wise, something small is fine, not a palm sized miniature, but a giant laptop would definitely be over the top.
In terms of gaming capabilities, I'd like something that can handle a game like Civ V without blinking, but beyond that extra capabilities would be lost on me.
Cost wise, I'm currently thinking of the $1500-2000 range, though I don't know if I'm being too hopeful there.
If anyone can give me any advice or a recommendation of a laptop they've used or know of I'd be most grateful for the assistance. Shannon
