Acer 5950G....NO security at ALL (3 posts)

I have just bought a new Acer 5950G, i7 computer recently. There is a hotkey at the left top corner for turning on the ACER Arcade instant on program without booting the window. Amazing after I pushed the hotkey, I can access every user's folder without using any password. The instant on programme will violate all the securety check in the computer. WHAT A DESIGN FAULT, AFTER KNOWING THAT THE PROBLEM, I HAVE CALLED THE ACER COMPUTER HONG KONG OFFICE, BUT,,,,,,THE ANSWER IS: THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX IT, OHHHH, HOW I CAN SHARE THE COMPUTER WITH FOUR OTHER USERS???????

Just uninstall Acer Arcade (I did when I bought it and never actually realised what the now non-functional buttons did).

For what it's worth, anyone could do that anyway simply by booting Linux from a CD/USB stick unless you password-protect your BIOS.
