A post-modern deconstruction of a classic fairy tale (on the Nintendo DS, with zombies)
Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ.

Precious childhood memories can often be destroyed by modern remakes, reinterpretations and sequels — yeah, we're looking at you George Lucas. However, zombies, BBQs and, er, fairy tales are three of our favourite things — so Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ for the Nintendo DS can only be described as "freaking awesome", and that's before we know anything about it. (It's only a pity that it doesn't seem to involve ninjas and pirates.) The stoy goes: After Little Red Riding Hood saves her grandmother from the Wolf, um, zombies invade. It's like Evil Dead I meets Evil Dead II meets, um, the Brothers Grimm. No Bruce Campbell connection as far as we know though. That's Little Red Riding Hood on the left. Expect appearances from Gretel, Pinocchio, the Three Little Pigs, Sleeping Beauty and Zombzilla(!) 'My, grandmother, what a big health bar you have.' It's possible that this screenshot will disturb our sleep for quite some time to come. Fearsome Barney the Dinosaur zombies. Perhaps. The action appears to involve kicking arse and taking names, minus the taking names part. The game is set for release later this year on the Nintendo DS.
